About Me

Imagine that you have a kind, curious, resourceful cheerleader who supports you in growing your business and learning about AI. You do–it's me, Katherine Russell, an American/Australian, cis woman of a certain age.

During decades as a software development consultant, running my own businesses and collaborating with others, I observed how people and organizations wrestle with big questions around technology, automation and mysterious forces in big business. I began to evaluate the now ubiquitous discussions about AI safety through the lens of my experience, and combined that with a passion for the magical experience of coaching.

Thus developed my mission to save the world from bad robots. More professionally, I start my resume with this:
I am a seasoned IT professional and coach who uses Agile principals to solve global tech-focused issues with like-minded colleagues. I am deeply experienced with custom software development and deployment, client-centered project management and innovative business process improvement in a wide range of industries.

But like it says on the home page, it's a lot more fun to say that I want to save the world from bad robots.
